What time does the race start?

The 10km and 21km races start at 6:00 AM on Saturday 4 April

There is a 4.9km fun run which starts at 6:10.

Can I still enter on the day?

Yes. And we will be at the community hall (across the road from the stadium, next to the police station) on Friday 2PM to 6PM.

Where will the race start?

Next to Kanyamazane Stadium, in Chris Hani Street.

Will there be enough Coke and water?

Yes. We’re putting a lot of effort in ensuring that the first official race of our new club will be a huge success.

How does the route go?

There is a map elsewhere on this website. You can also download an information brochure at the top of this page. But, basically, the 10km and 21km races start by the Stadium, you turn left in Dragonfly Street, run past Thembeka Secondary School, before heading down to the main Kanyamazane-Nelspruit road.

At the 5km mark, the 10km runners turn around and head back to the starting point along the same route. The 21km runners continue until the vicinity of Karino Estate before heading back to the stadium along the same route.

How much does it cost to enter?

The 21km entry fee is R100.

The 10km entry fee is R60

The 4.9km fun run entry fee is R40.

If you do not belong to a club, you need to buy a temporary licence for R40.
